When Jim Cooper founded this firm more than 65 years ago, his love for the law was matched by a deep sense of commitment to the community, especially to those most in need. With little fanfare but great effectiveness, he spent his life investing his personal and professional resources in ways that have changed lives– and, by his example, inspired others to do the same.

The scope and specifics of our involvement range from taking leadership roles at the national level, to volunteering in civic and neighborhood settings, to supporting our troops in the field, to funding scholarships for aspiring students, to working in soup kitchens, leading a food distribution program for school kids who go without meals when school is not in session, to delivering presents to disadvantaged children during the holidays.
