 As the gaming and hospitality industry continues to expand and evolve with online gaming and sports betting, Lucas R. Levenson knows dedication and experience are needed to provide a range of legal solutions. 

Lucas handles multi-state licensing efforts, regulatory research, and continues strong relationships with gaming boards across the country for the Cooper Levenson Casino gaming and iGaming Practice Groups.

 Lucas excels at managing initial licensing and ongoing compliance for all (sorts of) companies in the sports wagering and online gaming sector. 

Additionally, Lucas has prepared for and participated in licensing hearings and various litigation.

 Experience

 Beginning as a summer intern at Cooper Levenson, Lucas worked with attorneys in casino gaming, tax litigation, and estate planning practice groups. 

He interned at the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office and served as a Law Clerk for the Honorable James P. Savio, Atlantic County Superior Court, NJ.

 Before his legal career, Lucas worked as a Financial Analyst for an Atlantic City casino hotel and as a Compliance Analyst for an online sports betting company. 

As an attorney, Lucas represents developers with licensing, operation controls, and mobile application launches over a dozen state and tribal jurisdictions. 

Whether it is a licensing application for developers or writing esports wagering regulations, Lucas assists clients in all facets of the gaming and hospitality industry – and he knows what is at stake.

Affiliations 

Lucas is a soccer referee with the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and New Jersey State Interscholastic Athletic Association (NJSIAA) referee.

Lucas volunteered with the Atlantic City Boys and Girls Club in Atlantic City and coached basketball at Atlantic City High School.
